I co-founded Sympatico Health Alliance because I've seen what happens when behavioral health is treated as an afterthought in post-acute care. I've sat with residents whose cries for help were misunderstood as "noncompliance." I've witnessed caregivers overwhelmed, unsupported, and burned out. I've seen good facilities penalized during surveys for issues they were never trained to manage. And I've also seen what's possible when we do it differently.

At Sympatico, we don't just respond to behavioral health--we build systems of care that heal, educate, and transform. We work side by side with facilities to prevent crises, reduce suffering, and elevate the standard of care for those often overlooked.

This work isn't easy--but it's some of the most meaningful work I've ever done. And I can't do it alone.
